iPod Nano And Camera Out Now

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

The iPod nano is a fabulous version of the  great media players that has really come into maturity during the last year or so.  When once it appeared like a poor relation of the bigger iPod Classic, now the Nano is a superb product in its own right.  In truth, that appears to have been the remit with Apple items in current times- make every one unique instead of a smaller or bigger copy of the first.

Things got better at first when Apple first added the accelerometer to the iPod nano, exactly as is featured in the iPhone and iPod Touch.  This allowed for wide screen viewing of videos and greater functionality.  The nano ultimately appeared to be catching up with the remainder of the range, and was released in a number of colours, it turned out to be a huge selling success for the Apple corporation.

Now, the latest upgrade to these wonderfully  flexible little players is the appearance of an in-built camera and mic.  You are now able to produce video in both portrait and landscape formats and easily sync the files to your computer via iTunes, and then share them on-line at YouTube or other video sharing sites.

As always, the interface is simple and clean, which makes it very easy to capture those random moments that life brings you.  The genius function is there too, which is an individual favorite of all of the software upgrades Apple have made lately.

The new iPod nano also has an inbuilt FM tuner and has the capability to hold and pause live broadcasts.  The radio feature also includes a cool function where your iPod will give you the data on each track as you hear it through the radio broadcast.  The new iPod nano is only one of the fantastic ways that Apple have been making their products more accessible to folk who want something truly useful and fun in their pocket. You can easily find the brand spanking new iPod nano on-lone in whichever color you like!

How To Use The Apple Magic Mouse

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Very recently Apple launched its new Magic Mouse, that works like a normal mouse but in a different style. Yes, the new Magic Mouse from Apple is entirely different from the Mouse we use in its working.

The new Apple Magic Mouse, unlike a regular old mouse doesn’t have right, left and scroll buttons. No, that doesn’t mean you can’t right click and not open the short cut menu or cannot scroll up or down to the bottom of a page using the scroll button. In the Magic Mouse instead of three buttons there is just one button, in fact the surface of the Magic Mouse acts as a button available for all purposes.

For example, you could take the cursor to a desired location and click anywhere on the Mouse surface, and it would work perfect. And for right click, just click on the right side of the Mouse, and it will work perfectly. To scroll down, move you finger downside and you would be taken to the bottom of the web page. Also, there is an interesting feature the Magic Mouse has - it can be customized. If you are left handy, you can customize the Mouse such that instead pressing the right side of the Magic Mouse (normally called the right click option), you can press the left side of the Magic Mouse. Also, the Magic Mouse is a smart that knows how many fingers you are using.

For clearer understanding, you may want to watch this video demonstration on how to use Apple Magic Mouse.

And for making the Apple Magic Mouse work on Windows machine (not all Apple applications work on Windows), follow these steps: let the drivers be hacked out of Bluetooth update for Mac users running Windows with BootCamp. Also, get the 32 bit version of the drivers or 64 bit; whichever you are running.

This is a fun, button less Mouse which many would love to use.

i-Phone has become a huge success

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

The phone itself seems to be selling more by the hour but how is this happening? It helps that the ipod is there but the reason it sells is because of all of the technology crammed inside.

The iPhone is a phone and I-pod all mixed in together and that is really only the beginning, It also has internet access, Facebook, E-mail, and the now famous App store. One of the good things about the App store is that it is every changing and always growing, part of the reason Apple have made so much money from it.

{Recently 02’s exclusive two year contract with Apple has run out and Vodaphone as well as Orange have both stepped in to snap up deals with them}. Next year these companies are going to be allowed to actually put the phone on sale. However are people going to buy the phone simply because another provider is set to sell the phone, it would seem that would be quite unlikely? People have a favourite provider that is certain so perhaps a few extra sales will be on the way in the New Year.

There is one other thing that comes to mind when thinking of the iPhone and that is the costs. The cost of the phone itself isn’t cheap and can be even worse if it breaks and you do not have something like Gadget Insurance. The problem with insurance is that it costs a lot of money and just sits there until you need it and even then you may never use it. No matter how careful people are, they will drop it at some stage, so what happens next. Personally I have dropped mine about five times and it has managed to survive so it is possible not to have insurance although I would reccomend it.

Of course there are insurance policies available for a number of things from PDA insurance as well as the obvious iPhone insurance. However if you were to insure your gadget it could save you money in the long run.
